Job summary

Grifols Diagnostic Solutions Global Service & Training is seeking a Field Software & Interface Support Specialist to provide the highest quality service and support at customer sites and by telephone.

This role concentrates on IT support for systems and processes tied to Grifols OEM and Distributed products, with emphasis on LIMS analysis, design, configuration and integration. Candidates should have extensive lab informatics experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory informatics or laboratory automation support/IT role.
• Experience with LIMS implementations and data integration is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP/ISO and other certifying agency policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for systems and processes associated with Grifols OEM and Distributed products.
• Collaborate on vendor management for client projects involving LIMS analysis, design, configuration and integration.
• Interfacing with clients, understanding requirements and translating them into LIMS solutions.
• Conduct functional testing of client configurations.
• Draft user notes and design documents for technical and non-technical end users.
• Provide database and networking support and system security considerations.
• Participate in project teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• Assist with contingency planning and system configuration.
