Job summary

Grifols Diagnostic Solutions Global Service & Training is seeking a Field Software & Interface Support Specialist. The role focuses on delivering high-quality IT support for LIMS-related systems at customer sites and by telephone, aligning with GMP/ISO environments.

Responsibilities include analyzing user needs, configuring systems, testing client configurations, and drafting technical documents. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in science or CIS preferred; equivalent military education or associate degree with relevant experience acceptable.
• Minimum five years in laboratory informatics or lab automation IT/support roles.
• Experience with networking concepts (DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) is desirable.
• Knowledge of ASTM 1394 standards and medical/automation industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for systems and processes related to Grifols OEM and distributed products.
• Collaborate on vendor management and client project design for LIMS implementations.
• Perform functional testing of client configurations and draft design/user documents.
• Develop database utilities, monitoring, and reporting; support system security and access control.
• Assist with system integration, instrumentation/Systems escalations, and cross-functional teamwork.
