Job summary

Grifols Field Software & Interface Support Specialist will provide IT support for systems related to Grifols OEM and distributed products, delivering high-quality service at customer facilities and by phone. You will work with GST on vendor management for LIMS implementations, translate user needs into LIMS solutions, and support databases, networks, and operating systems in FDA/EPA regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in a major in a scientific discipline, or Bachelor of Art degree in Computer Information Systems preferred.
• Equivalent Military education or Associates Degree with 2 years experience or High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years experience servicing electronic/electro-mechanical equipment

Responsibilities

• The Field Software & Interface Support Specialist provides IT support for systems and/or processes associated with Grifols OEM and Distributed products.
• Collaborates with GST to drive vendor management of client projects involving analysis, design, configuration, and integration of third party LIMS systems.
• Interfacing with clients in FDA/EPA regulated environments; translates user requirements into LIMS solutions.
• Gathers, analyzes and translates user requirements into LIMS solutions.
• Participates in an implementation team to ensure the design meets business requirements and LIMS strategy.
• Provides quality, timely and accurate LIMS analysis/design/configuration/support.
• Conducts functional testing of client configurations.
• Drafts user notes and design documents for technical and non-technical end users.
• Database support: utilities, automated reporting, monitoring/optimizing performance, backups/upgrades, and security/encryption.
• Networking support: upgrades, installation and troubleshooting; inventory management; standards documentation.
• OS/Hardware/Applications support: lifecycle management, system integration, and security/access control.
• Leads/participates in complaint investigations and CAPA; trends and root cause analysis.
• Works on cross-functional project teams to support product commercialization and launch activities.
• Supports business continuity planning and system configuration.
