Job summary

SYNCADD Systems, Inc. is seeking a full-time ePRISMS Field Survey/LiDAR Technician to create detailed floor plans from laser scans on military installations.

You will survey buildings, record space usage details, photograph facilities, and stitch LiDAR scans into complete footprints for delivery to the Production Team. The role involves 6-8 hour daily field activity, 5-8 months of travel per year, and remote support from home when not deployed.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain CAC for federal contracting.
• Valid Real ID driver’s license and passport.
• Willingness to travel full-time (6-8 weeks blocks).
• Experience with field surveys using LiDAR and related data collection tools.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Learn business processes, terminology, policies, and systems requirements for field surveys.
• Coordinate and maintain appointment schedules.
• Maintain high productivity in assigned surveys.
• Ensure data quality standards are met.
• Interact with military and civilian personnel on installations.
• Conduct field surveys with LiDAR and laser tools for space data.
• Register and publish raw LiDAR data to generate point clouds.
• Classify and filter point clouds to isolate structures and features.
• Extract facility features from LiDAR and convert to floor plans.
• Perform quality control to ensure accuracy of floor plans.
