Responsibilities

• Interact with the general public and answer questions about driver licenses and identification cards.
• Review and process license/permit applications and related documents.
• Evaluate applicant physical capabilities and refer for further evaluation as needed.
• Administer road skills tests and driver examinations; provide information and testimony in hearings when required.
• Travel statewide up to 5 days per month and work extended hours as needed.
