Job summary

Tanimura & Antle in Yuma, AZ seeks heavy labor harvesters to pick lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower and cilantro in open fields under supervision of a foreperson. You will select produce, trim to spec, and help pack or stage cartons for shipment.

Requirements include standing, bending, lifting up to 66 pounds, working outdoors in heat or cold, and following safety rules. Work week is about 40 hours from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Harvests produce by walking in furrows to select size and quality as instructed by supervisor
• Bends, trims and packs harvested produce according to specifications
• Operates harvest equipment as needed and assists in packaging and palletizing
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in the field and on equipment
• Complies with supervisor directions and field crew procedures
