Job summary

The Growers Company, Inc. is seeking Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, to support harvesting lettuce, broccoli, celery, and other crops. Work includes pre-harvest labor, irrigation, transplanting, and tractor driving; some tasks involve operating a harvesting machine.

Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varied Arizona weather, and follow GAP and food safety protocols. English or Spanish language skills are required; orientation and time attendance will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in variable weather conditions.
• English or Spanish understood in the workplace.
• Two months verifiable experience with diversified crops.
• Follow Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• General farm labor including pre-harvest tasks, irrigation, transplanting, and tractor driving.
• Harvest crops and place product in cartons or operate harvesting machine as applicable.
• Load full boxes, assemble empty boxes, and transport materials in the field.
