Job summary

Kiewit Corporation is seeking a Rotating Equipment Superintendent to lead field work on power generation projects, overseeing installation, alignment, and turnover of major rotating equipment. You will manage General Foremen, Foremen, and craft personnel, coordinating with project management, engineering, and suppliers to maintain safety and schedule adherence.

The role requires hands-on millwright expertise, strong coordination across disciplines, and a commitment to quality and OSHA-compliant

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in precision millwright and/or rotating equipment scopes, with 3+ years in a Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, or comparable field leadership position on power generation projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall field leadership for installation, assembly, alignment, and execution of rotating and centerline equipment on power generation projects.
• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise field operations to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Direct and support foremen, millwrights, and craft personnel responsible for rotating equipment installation.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure efficient sequencing and proper interface management.
• Interface with OEM representatives during installation, alignment, testing, and turnover.
• Ensure equipment installation complies with drawings, specs, and OEM requirements.
• Oversee alignment activities and use of measurement tools and instrumentation.
• Maintain records of manpower, progress, and field conditions.
• Identify constraints and coordinate solutions with stakeholders.
