Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Maintenance is seeking a Field Manager to coordinate crews and resources, ensuring safe, efficient delivery of landscape maintenance services. You will lead teams, manage schedules, and maintain client relationships to support contract renewals.

The role requires strong leadership, a safety mindset, and experience with horticulture and landscape operations. Expect a performance-driven, field-facing leadership position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Safety-first mindset with a commitment to safety regulations and safe work practices.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in horticulture or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience or certifications a plus
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record over the past three years; proven ability to lead and develop teams
• Proven ability to lead and develop team members at various levels within a field operations environment
• Ability to diagnose common insect and plant disease issues and coordinate appropriate treatment plans
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly in English
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining positive client relationships
• Solid working knowledge of vehicles, tools, and equipment used in landscape maintenance and snow removal

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee daily production activities for assigned contracts, ensuring efficient use of labor and resources
• Lead, hire, train, and grow team members through coaching, mentorship, and training sessions
• Monitor labor, budgets, production hours, and job costs to keep projects on track
• Monitor work quality daily, address issues, and ensure service reports are submitted
• Drive additional revenue by identifying opportunities for enhancements and add-on services
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients to ensure high satisfaction and renewals
• Understand and align with the company’s operating philosophy and branch goals to improve efficiency
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained in safe, clean, and operational condition
