Job summary

Armand Corporation is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead field operations along the Hudson Tunnel Project, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, quality, and regulatory compliance across multiple contracts.

The role requires strong leadership, proven rail/tunneling experience, and the ability to coordinate with Amtrak, government agencies, and delivery partners, while maintaining rigorous documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years in construction management on large infrastructure or rail projects; 5+ years tunneling/underground.
• Knowledge of NEPA, FTA, FRA, OSHA, Buy America regulations.
• Experience implementing CM plans, SSMPs, and QMPs in multi-contract setups.
• Strong leadership and field management capabilities.
• Proficient in schedule/cost control (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Experience with BIM tools for clash detection and constructability reviews.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day field construction operations in line with project plans.
• Coordinate updates to drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and NCRs.
• Enforce site safety and security per SSMP; lead incident investigations.
• Perform QA/QC audits and manage corrective actions.
• Oversee testing, inspections, and coordination with labs.
• Prepare field management reports: daily logs, weekly updates, monthly trends.
• Manage interfaces with stakeholders and contractors; support handover.
