Astreya Consultancy India is seeking a seasoned data center field engineer to verify builds, own documentation, and lead field operations across multiple sites. You will audit workmanship, create splice plans, port maps, rack elevations, and one-line diagrams, and ensure readiness for handover.

You must have 6+ years in data center fiber deployment, be proficient with splice, OTDR, and fiber testing, travel up to 100%, and be comfortable coordinating with vendors while meeting SLA targets.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years in data center fiber deployment, verification, or operations with high density MPO and ribbon experience.
• Expert at reading, creating, and correcting design packages, splice plans, port maps, elevations, and test specs.

• Own documentation: splice plans, port maps, rack elevations, and one-line diagrams; confirm as-builts match field at handover.
• Lead the field: conduct prework reviews, witness testing, escalate issues, coach install techs, manage dispatch and reporting across sites.
• Build the service: refine checklists, templates, acceptance criteria; identify repeat failures and drive improvements; mentor juniors.
• Report like an owner: readiness and verification reports within 2 business days, track yield and defects.
