Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer - Trimble Designer CAD to join our expanding team in Fredericksburg, VA. The role focuses on field layout for ducts, pipes, elevations, and hangers, using CAD and Trimble tools.

You will support in-house designers and field crews with point collection and layout tasks. Qualified candidates have 2-3 years surveying experience, 2 years CAD experience, and proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years surveying experience or equivalent vocational training.
• Two years CAD experience and proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with field crews and designers.

Responsibilities

• Assist field crews and designers in laying out plans per contract documents.
• Create or collect field layout points for duct, pipe, elevations, and hangers.
• Operate CAD and Trimble software in the field and office.
• Maintain equipment and stay current with calibration.
• Collaborate with team and respond to job needs.
