Job summary

SPC Mechanical in Wendell, NC seeks an on-site BIM/CAD support specialist to operate Trimble total stations, interpret drawings, and assist field teams with piping systems locations and install tasks. You will generate points, coordinate with Superintendents, and produce as-built DWG files.

The role requires ability to read specs, perform 3D scans, and use Revit and AutoCAD MEP. You will document field work, keep organized records, and evolve with technology in a busy construction environment.

Qualifications

• Must understand Trimble equipment and field measurements.
• Able to read construction drawings and specs.
• Capable of field tasks and reporting.
• Proficiency with CAD in field settings.

Responsibilities

• Trimble total station operation.
• Complete understanding of job specs, schedule, and construction sequencing.
• Aid in keeping the Trimble Manager in the loop on what is happening on site.
• Maintain and file all jobs in organized folders.
• Provide as-built points and DWG files back to coordination.
• Provide Superintendents with locations of certain points in the field.
