Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking a Field Technician II to conduct advanced testing, inspections, and quality assurance on concrete construction sites. You will support field operations, ensure materials meet specifications, and mentor junior technicians.

The role requires at least 1 year in field engineering/layout, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 70% across projects. Proficiency in reading construction drawings and using total stations is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in field engineering/lay-out.
• Willing to travel up to 70% across sites.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required or preferred.
• Ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents and drawings.
• Perform field surveying and layout activities on site.
• Establish control lines from control points and set elevations.
• Layout foundations, vertical formwork, decks, and embeds as required.
• Assist in documenting engineering activities and RFIs.
• Maintain surveying equipment and ensure proper storage.
