Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking a Field Technician II to join our Houston operations. The role involves advanced testing, inspections, and QA on concrete projects, supporting field operations, and mentoring junior technicians.

The candidate should have at least one year of field layout experience, bilingual Spanish/English, and be willing to travel up to 70% to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of field engineering/lay-out experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Travel up to 70% may be required.
• Ability to read and cross-check structural and architectural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents.
• Perform horizontal and vertical control using Total Stations.
• Assist in layout of foundations, columns, walls, decks and formwork.
• Maintain survey equipment and document engineering activities.
• Oversee Field Layout Technician I’s.
