You will perform advanced testing, inspections, and QA procedures, ensuring materials and methods meet project specs and safety standards. You will mentor junior technicians and provide technical expertise in data analysis.

Based in San Antonio, the role requires travel up to 70% and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in field engineering/layout.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willing to travel up to 70%.
• Proficient in reading contract drawings (structural and architectural).
• Bilingual Spanish/English.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents.
• Provide horizontal and vertical control with Total Stations.
• Conduct layout and field engineering tasks.
• Establish control lines and foundations.
• Layout vertical formwork and decks.
• Maintain surveying equipment and document engineering activities.
• Oversee Field Layout Technician I’s.
• Travel up to 70% and work in varying weather.
