Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking a Field Technician II for on-site testing, inspections, and QA on concrete construction sites. You will support field operations, ensure materials meet specifications, mentor junior technicians, and handle data analysis.

The role requires practical experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in varied weather with potential travel up to 70% across projects. This position offers stability with a well-established contractor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in field engineering/lay-out.
• Extensive travel up to 70%.
• Bilingual Spanish/English; read and understand contract drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents.
• Understand site survey objectives and provide horizontal/vertical control using Total Stations.
• Assist in basic layout and field engineering activities: establish control lines, layout foundations, decks, embeds, and vertical formwork.
• Assist in surveying activities.
• Document and maintain engineering records and drawings onsite.
• Support field operations and mentoring of junior technicians.
• Work conditions may include exposure to inclement weather.
