Job summary

Geronimo Power seeks an independent contractor to provide field liaison services during construction of utility-scale energy projects in Minnesota. You will coordinate landowner and community relations, document schedules, and support issue resolution.

The role requires strong communication, documentation, and on-site presence with local travel. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with at least 4 years in related fields and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• At least 4 years in construction coordination, community relations, or similar field.
• Experience with construction or infrastructure projects; renewables a plus.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.
• Proficient in issue-tracking and follow-through; organized and reliable.
• On-site presence with local travel and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide field liaison services during active construction.
• Establish relationships with landowners and community stakeholders.
• Coordinate pre-construction outreach and share schedules and access needs.
• Schedule and facilitate stakeholder meetings with project teams.
• Maintain an issue log and track commitments to closure.
• Document access issues, claims, and restoration matters.
• Monitor leases and permits; elevate risks to Geronimo Power.
• Support site visits and field meetings to assess community impact.
• Produce written status reports and handoff packages.
