Job summary

Geronimo Power, LLC is seeking an independent contractor to serve as a field liaison during the construction of utility-scale energy projects in Minnesota. You will coordinate with landowners, community stakeholders, local officials, and EPC teams, ensuring clear communication, issue tracking, and timely resolution.

The role requires on-site presence, local travel, and strong documentation skills to maintain logs and handoffs from construction to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 4 years of experience in construction coordination, community relations, stakeholder engagement, or similar.
• Experience supporting construction or infrastructure projects is a plus; renewable energy projects are beneficial.
• Strong written documentation and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholder matters and deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide field liaison services among landowners, community stakeholders, local officials, and project teams during active construction.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with landowners and community stakeholders.
• Coordinate pre-construction outreach and communicate schedules, access needs, and traffic plans.
• Lead stakeholder meetings and communications with authorities and project teams.
• Maintain an issue and commitment log with status, target dates, and resolutions.
• Document and coordinate follow-up on access issues, complaints, and restoration matters.
• Monitor commitments in leases and permits, escalating risks as needed.
• Support site visits to observe community impacts and gather information.
• Prepare regular written status reports and a construction-to-operations handoff package.
