Klaasmeyer Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Laborer to support our Field Operations team in Monahans, TX. You will assist excavation, trenching, and site restoration, hand-dig near underground utilities, and help install conduit channels.

The role emphasizes physical stamina, reliability, safety awareness, and willingness to learn. Local and regional travel may be required as projects expand.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform sustained hard physical labor in all weather conditions.
• Reliable and punctual; able to work the full day.
• Safety conscious; follows rules around equipment and underground utilities.
• Prior construction or general labor experience preferred; willing to train.
• Valid driver's license required.
• OSHA 10 and Flagger certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Strong attention to detail and steady hands.
• Travel locally and regionally for projects; out of state work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Hand digging around existing underground utilities in congested areas where the excavator can't go.
• Potholing to expose and verify utility locations before the Equipment Operator gets close.
• Laying and installing conduit and innerduct — fittings, couplings, grade, and alignment.
• Backfilling, compacting, and restoring the ground surface to pre-construction condition.
• Spotting equipment, setting up traffic control, and supporting the crew throughout the day.
