Job summary

BrandSafway is hiring a Laborer II to support basic construction tasks in Midland, TX. The role focuses on manual labor, equipment operation, and material installation, with substantial travel requirements.

Candidates should have a CDL Class A, at least 1 year in construction, be able to pass DOT drug tests, and work in various weather conditions. The job includes driving duties and long hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 1 year construction and/or field work experience.
• Must pass DOT drug test and physical.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for drivers and trucks.
• Able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Prefer candidate resides within 60 miles of the office.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs; willing to work long hours including 12-hour shifts when required.
• Must be willing to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Basic construction site manual labor, including dirt work, equipment operation, and maintenance.
• Move equipment to job sites, offload materials, install materials per design.
• Follow Foreman lead on proper job site set up and clean up.
• Must be able to operate trucks and heavy equipment to and from job sites; SAFELY.
• Will operate equipment: backhoe, trencher, mini excavator, and forklift SAFELY. Training provided.
• Perform routine/preventative maintenance and inspection on equipment.
• Provide and maintain accurate paperwork.
• 70% Labor, 30% Driving
• Travel: 90% — Must be able to travel. Typical schedule is 3 weeks on 7 days off.
