Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a full-time Laborer/Equipment Operator in Midland, TX. Compensation is $28.00–$32.00/hour with a schedule of 3 weeks on, 7 days off and travel about 90%.

Responsibilities include dirt work, equipment operation, material handling, and installation per design. You will assist the Foreman, operate heavy equipment, and perform routine maintenance. CDL-A and ability to pass DOT tests are required.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 1-year construction and/or field work experience
• Must be able to pass DOT drug test and physical.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for drivers and trucks
• Able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Prefer candidate resides within 60 miles of the office.
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs.
• Must be willing to work long hours such as 12-hour shifts when required.
• Must be willing to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Basic construction site labor, including dirt work, equipment operation, maintenance.
• Move equipment to job sites, unload materials, install per design.
• Follow Foreman lead on job site setup and cleanup.
• Operate trucks and heavy equipment safely.
• Operate backhoe, trencher, mini excavator, and forklift; training provided.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Provide and maintain accurate paperwork.
• 70% Labor, 30% Driving.
• Travel: 90% (typical schedule is 3 weeks on, 7 days off).
