Job summary

2R DRILLING is seeking a dedicated Laborer to support drilling crews on-site in California. The role involves preparing job sites, handling tools and materials, and assisting with safe and efficient drilling operations.

Responsibilities include loading equipment, maintaining a clean work area, following safety protocols, and helping with basic maintenance and documentation. Prior field experience is beneficial but not required; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong awareness of safety practices and willingness to follow all safety protocols and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Reliability in attendance, punctuality, and following instructions from supervisors and crew leads.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn operation and maintenance of tools and equipment used in drilling.
• Effective teamwork skills, including clear communication and cooperation with crew members on job sites.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work location; ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Willingness to work extended hours, overtime, and occasional weekends based on project needs.
• Prior experience in construction, drilling, or related field work is beneficial but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist drilling crews with daily field operations, including preparing job sites, handling tools and materials.
• Load and unload equipment, set up and break down drill rigs, maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on tools and equipment.
• Assist with sample collection and handling, and complete required documentation or reports.
• Work closely with supervisors and crew members to ensure projects are completed on time and in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
