Job summary

Global Earthwork + Underground is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform materials sampling, testing, and documentation in support of heavy civil construction projects. You will follow the Quality Control Program and report results to the Quality Manager.

Responsibilities include field and lab testing of concrete, soils, and aggregates, documenting results, calibrating equipment, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel locally to project sites and pass drug/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials, including concrete, soils, and aggregates.
• Document test results accurately using company systems and approved reporting formats.
• Maintain testing equipment and report calibration issues as identified.
