Job summary

Core Laboratories is seeking an Inspector Trainee to learn Saybolt, API, ASTM and customer procedures while adhering to all safety policies. The role involves entry-level measurement and sampling, maintaining records, and producing field reports.

Training will cover transfers and basic lab procedures through cross-training. Local travel and a vehicle may be required; high school diploma or GED is essential, and prior experience in a service-oriented setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required for entry-level role.
• No prior training required, on-the-job training provided.
• One year of experience with a service-oriented organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level measurement and sampling activities.
• Maintain written records (tally books) per company guidelines.
• Learn and complete entry-level field reports.
• Provide timely information to scheduler/manager about onsite problems.
• Complete tasks per Saybolt and customer guidelines and instructions.
• Learn about transfers (barge, tank-to-tank) by end of probation.
• Gain basic laboratory knowledge via cross training.
