Job summary

AmSpec Group seeks an entry‑level trainee inspector to support basic inspection and sampling in the field, complete required paperwork, and ensure timely communication with the office staff. Roles include shadowing a senior inspector, learning API/IFIA procedures, and performing field work with attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities include conducting measurements, sampling, and reporting while complying with company policies.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle for field transportation.
• Willingness to work shifts and travel as required by the branch.

Responsibilities

• Complete safety and orientation training for access to customer facilities.
• Shadow senior inspector on jobs and learn basic inspection procedures.
• Follow API, IFIA, and company procedures at all times.
• Perform basic inspection and sampling in the field and record measurements and temperatures.
