Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking a hands-on IT/Telecom field technician to support our national client base. This role goes beyond desk work, involving OS installs, cabling, and telecom tasks across various sites and environments.

You will work independently, travel within your territory, and be on-call to respond to service requests. A valid driver’s license and tools are required, with 1+ year of field experience and relevant certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year IT/telecom field experience.
• PC and printer troubleshooting experience preferred.
• One of: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, or 5+ years field exp.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling, drilling, running and dressing cables.
• Telecom work: punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate sites.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on-call.
