Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support a growing national client base. This is a field role with OS installs, cabling, and telecom tasks across varied environments, not a desk job. Travel within a defined territory is required.

You will be field-facing, solving practical hardware and network issues, and continuously expanding your skills with new technologies on client sites.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of IT/Telecom experience
• One of: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, or 5+ years field experience in IT/Telecom
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, and dressing cables)
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.)
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory
