Job summary

AMG Tech Support seeks skilled field technicians to support a national client base. This role goes beyond helpdesk duties, including OS installs, cabling, and telecom tasks across diverse sites. You’ll work independently, travel within your territory, and uphold professional client interactions.

Eligible candidates have 1+ year IT/Telecom experience with either A+/Network+ or 5+ years field experience. On-site, 1099 contractor role with travel pay benefits and potential advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year IT/Telecom experience with field duties.
• Certifications preferred: A+ or Network+; or 5+ years field experience.
• Must have reliable vehicle and tools for IT/network tasks.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling including drilling, running, and cable dressing.
• Telecom work such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate settings.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and respond to service requests within territory.
