Job summary

AMG Tech Support in Shelby, NC is seeking hands-on field technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond routine helpdesk work, involving OS and hardware setup, structured cabling, and on-site diagnostics across various environments from retail to healthcare.

You’ll travel to client sites, work independently, and be on-call within your territory. A personal vehicle, a toolbox, and strong professionalism are required, with opportunities for advancement and profit sharing as

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience (a strong plus)
• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience
• A+ Certification
• Network+ Certification
• OR 5+ years verifiable field experience in I.T./Telecom

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup
• Structured cabling (including drilling, running, and dressing cables)
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.)
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory
