Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support a national client base. This role goes beyond desk-based tasks, involving OS installs, hardware diagnostics, structured cabling, and telecom work across diverse environments.

You will be on-call, travel within your territory, and maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients. A valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of IT or Telecom experience required.
• On-call availability and willingness to travel within territory.
• Must have reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Own basic IT and networking tools (e.g., screwdrivers, cable testers, crimpers).

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Conduct structured cabling, including drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Handle telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Respond to service requests within territory in a timely, professional manner.
