Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on field technicians to support a national client base across diverse environments. This role exceeds typical helpdesk tasks, involving OS installs, hardware diagnostics, cabling, and telecom work.

Ideal candidates thrive on on-site days, variety, and independent problem-solving. On-call availability within the territory is expected, with opportunities for advancement as you gain experience across healthcare, retail, and corporate sites.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience.
• Must have A+ or Network+ or 5+ years verifiable field experience in I.T./Telecom.
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license; own tools for basic IT tasks.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling tasks including drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Telecom work such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on-call for service requests within territory.
