Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support our national client base. This role goes beyond a typical helpdesk, involving OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and extensive on-site structured cabling across diverse environments.

You will work independently at various sites, be on-call, and travel within your territory. The position offers a dynamic mix of field work and client-facing responsibilities with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in I.T. or Telecom field work across various environments is required or strongly preferred.
• Proficient with OS installations, hardware diagnostics and software setup.
• Ability to perform structured cabling tasks and basic telecom duties on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installs, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Conduct structured cabling, including drilling and cabling runs.
• Handle telecom tasks such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate sites.
• Be on-call and respond to service requests within your territory.
