Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support a growing national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks, involving OS installations, cabling, and telecom work across various settings.

You will be traveling to client sites, working independently, and staying on-call to meet service requests throughout your territory. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, with profit sharing and travel pay as part of compensation.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of I.T. or Telecom field experience.
• Certifications include A+ or Network+, OR 5+ years of verifiable field experience.
• Comfort with OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Ability to work across diverse environments and be on-call 24/7

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Carry out structured cabling tasks including drilling and cable management.
• Handle telecom tasks such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate settings.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and respond to service requests in your territory.
