Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking an IT Technician to provide prompt, courteous support and hands-on maintenance across GCNA locations, including stores, career centers, distribution centers, and the Corporate Center.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining hardware, software, and peripherals, updating asset records, and assisting with the retail POS system setup. Travel is required, with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or 2-4 years’ equivalent work experience as an IT Technician.
• 2-4 years of experience in troubleshooting and supporting PC software, hardware, peripherals and networks in a business environment.
• A+ Certification preferred or willing to obtain during first year of employment.
• ITIL Foundations certification preferred or willing to obtain during first year of employment.
• Intermediate use and troubleshooting skills of PC hardware and peripherals.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in partnership with others.
• Ability to use basic power tools such as a drill for equipment installation.
• Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Valid Arizona drivers' license and clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
• Must be able to obtain Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous, and hands-on technical support services.
• Performs installation, maintenance, support, and repair of GCNA hardware, software, and peripherals at all GCNA locations.
• Maintains records and technical documentation for essential hardware and software equipment.
• Provides updates to location of company assets and equipment.
• Interacts with end users to understand problems and determine solutions.
• May be on-call after hours.
• Travels daily to GCNA locations to perform duties such as installing, repairing, and supporting the network, hardware and software.
• Travels to GCNA locations with possible overnight stays.
• Assists with setup, management and maintenance of the retail POS system.
• Supports network, hardware and software troubleshooting at the Corporate Center.
