Job summary

Altocare, including Senior Helpers and MedTec Healthcare, seeks a Technical Support Field Analyst based in the Chicago area. You will serve as the primary on-site tech for Chicagoland and provide remote support for other locations nationwide, handling Tier 1/2 issues and coordinating with Tier 3 when needed.

You will manage hardware refresh cycles, new user setups, and VPN/endpoint security tasks while maintaining clear documentation and proactive communications with managers and end users.

Qualifications

College degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and/or 3+ years of hands-on IT support.
Certifications in Microsoft, A+, Network+ a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary on-site technician for Chicagoland area when remote resolution isn’t possible.
Deploy to sites for hardware refresh and new user setups; troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and network equipment.
Provide fully remote support for other office locations nationwide.
Diagnose and resolve Tier 1/2 issues; escalate to Tier 3 as needed.
Maintain site configurations and documentation; update asset inventories and SOPs.
