Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation seeks a Manager of IT - Field Services to lead the regional IT support for field operations in the Sylmar, CA area. You will recruit, coach, and manage a team of technicians, ensuring reliable network, desktop, and device support for project sites.

You will partner with operations leadership to align IT services with project priorities, optimize staffing, and drive cost-effective technology initiatives across the region.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related major.
• Masters degree is a plus.
• Minimum of five years of IT technical experience and three years' managing internal and third party technical resources.
• Excellent project management skills and a track record of delivering IT solutions that improve business operations.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows desktop, Windows Server, Aruba Networking, MS Active Directory, Hosted VoIP, and Citrix Xen Desktop.
• Experience overseeing help desk operations and the implementation and management of incident tracking systems.
• Minimum of five years of experience managing diverse and geographically dispersed technical services.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for day to day operations of Tutor Perini's field IT resources in the region.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a team of technical resources to ensure strong IT capabilities.
• Lead network, server, desktop and mobile device management efforts for the region.
• Partner with leadership to prioritize field and help desk tasks and optimize resources.
• Develop and implement help desk ticket scheduling to maximize customer support and efficiency.
• Review tickets daily and adjust assignments to address spikes or repeat issues.
• Analyze trends to identify systemic issues and opportunities for improvements.
• Manage budgets and projects to deliver IT services at the lowest cost while meeting business needs.
