Job summary

Clayco is seeking an IT Field Engineer to deliver advanced IT services at active job sites nationwide. You will design, deploy, and document IT solutions including AV and temporary connectivity, while serving as the primary technical contact for jobsite leadership.

Expect 60%+ travel to construction sites, strong collaboration with Design and Construction teams, and a fast-paced environment with on-site problem resolution.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years IT field support or infrastructure design experience.
• Experience designing or commissioning network connectivity for data centers or complex sites.
• Knowledge of AV design/deployment for temporary builds and field projects.
• Familiarity with cellular solutions and satellite connectivity.
• Proficiency with Windows 365 / Office, and iOS devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support at remote jobsites across the portfolio.
• Design and deploy network/infrastructure for temporary site needs (AV tents, data centers).
• Communicate timelines to leadership and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Troubleshoot field issues, coordinate with service partners, and document outcomes.
• Maintain health checks, preventative maintenance, and knowledge bases.
