Job summary

Clayco is seeking an IT Field Engineer to provide advanced IT services to internal customers at Clayco jobsites nationwide. You will translate field requests into technical designs, own solution timelines, and serve as the main technical contact for jobsite leadership.

The role emphasizes field deployment, including AV tent builds, temporary connectivity, and data center site networks. Expect 40%+ travel to active construction sites and rapid on-site response when issues arise.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of IT experience with field support or infrastructure design.
• Experience designing or commissioning network connectivity for data centers or complex sites.
• Knowledge of AV solutions for temporary builds and deployments.
• Experience with cellular tech and satellite connectivity.
• Experience supporting Windows, Microsoft 365, and iOS devices.
• Strong stakeholder management and on-site communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to remote jobsites across Clayco portfolio.
• Serve as primary contact for jobsite leadership on IT infrastructure status and timelines.
• Communicate project timelines and changes to stakeholders.
• Design and implement IT solutions for jobsite requests, including AV and connectivity.
• Install and configure Meraki networks and full-site mesh networks.
• Perform regular health checks and preventative maintenance on equipment.
