Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Inventory Analyst II for the Cardiac Rhythm Management division in Austin, TX. You will partner with supply chain, commercial, and customer service teams to optimize field inventory and ensure policies align with US requirements.

Responsibilities include data extraction from ERP systems, report generation, cycle counts, and driving cost-efficiency improvements in inventory, scrap and freight while maintaining service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to perform intermediate capability in Microsoft Excel and SAP/Business Objects strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools to manage field inventory and support reporting in conjunction with Supply Chain and Customer Service.
• Focus on optimizing inventory levels and minimizing expenses (scrap and freight).
• Partner with sales management, reps, and leadership to implement consignment inventory target setting and phase-in/phase-out projects.
• Regularly spend time in the field with sales personnel to understand business needs.
