Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking motivated Field Interviewers to support the MEPS study, interviewing adults in households across the United States using Westat-provided equipment.

The role combines in-person and computer-assisted video interviews, with travel to local and occasional long-distance households. This is a part-time, year-round position with two data collection periods, requiring 20 hours per week when available, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have in-person interviewing experience.
• Public contact and customer-facing skills required.
• Experience with cold calling and outreach is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse respondents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted video interviews with adults in households.
• Schedule and complete interviews, and transmit data daily when working.
• Travel to local and occasional long-distance assignments as required.
