Centinus in Austin, TX is seeking a Field Integration & QA Engineer (Hardware / SaaS) to bridge hardware partners with our remote software development team. You will setup home hardware test benches, travel to partner sites for live bring-up, and validate our SaaS platform, AI features, and real-time sensor streams.

The role requires hands-on hardware/software troubleshooting, Linux networking, and basic scripting.

Qualifications

Hardware/Software troubleshooting across IoT/embedded systems and robotics.
Proficiency with Linux/Unix command line, SSH, and networking basics.
Structured QA mindset with ability to write test procedures and isolate faults.
Basic scripting for automated tests and log extraction.

Responsibilities

System & Integration QA: bench tests, field runs, and hardware-in-the-loop verifications for SaaS releases.
Hardware Bring-Up & Remote Enablement: set up local test benches and enable remote engineers to flash builds on live devices.
New Platform & Sensor Integration: wire up and verify data pipelines, interfaces, and edge processing with OEMs.
Field Deployments & Partner Support: travel to customer sites for on-site integration and trials.
Diagnostics & Bug Reporting: monitor telemetry, trace issues, and document findings for remote teams.
Tooling & Automation: write scripts to automate tests, flash firmware, and verify data integrity.
