Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Field Integration Engineer to connect software engineering with hands-on field operations. You will deploy and integrate our software solutions across customer hardware, vehicles and test benches, acting as the on-site technical expert primarily in the Chicago area.

Significant travel is expected (30%–50%). You will troubleshoot across software, firmware and vehicle networks, bring up target hardware, and collaborate with customer teams to deliver

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Strong programming in embedded C/C++ with Linux development practices and CLI proficiency.
• 2+ years hands-on experience integrating, testing, and debugging software on physical platforms or embedded hardware.

Responsabilités

• Deploy, configure, and integrate vehicle software on target hardware, HIL simulators, and vehicle platforms.
• Serve as on-site technical escalation point; collect logs, bisect pipelines, debug crashes, and isolate root causes across software-hardware boundaries.
• Debug and validate CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, J1939 interfaces and validate data flow between sensors, ECUs and applications.
• Collaborate with internal software/firmware teams to reproduce field issues and validate fixes.
• Write Python, Bash scripts and tooling to streamline deployment, diagnostics, and log collection in the field.
• Work with customer engineering leadership to define integration use-cases and milestones.
