Job summary

APTIM is seeking a Project Electrician/Process Controls/Instrumentation Technician to support NAVFAC Environmental Services projects at NBSD, NBC NI, NBPL, and NBC NAB sites. The role involves installing and testing electrical, control and instrumentation systems, collecting data, and supporting leak detection efforts.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration, and field consulting.

Qualifications

• Experience with low-voltage electrical work and field testing.
• Ability to install, test, and document electrical, control and instrumentation equipment.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and leak detection fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform low-voltage electrical connect/disconnect work.
• Install and remove electrical, control, and instrumentation equipment.
• Conduct system testing, measurements, and data collection with standard test equipment.
• Set up, operate, and document tests and inspections.
• Assist with design modifications by analyzing field data.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and maintain systems.
