Job summary
The Navy Seabee Foundation is seeking a highly skilled instrumentation/electrical technician to support our Arizona-based operations. This role performs removal, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of process instrumentation and electrical systems to ensure safe, efficient production.
Candidates should have CCST/EPRI level II or equivalent, experience with PLCs, transmitters, control valves, and calibration, and the ability to mentor junior technicians under minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- CCST/EPRI level II or equivalent required.
- Experience with process instrumentation and electrical systems.
- Ability to mentor or train other instrumentation/electrical employees.
Responsibilities
- Removal, repair, installation, troubleshooting and diagnosis of process instrumentation and electrical systems for process optimization.
- Safe completion of routine and non-routine calibrations and repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of pneumatic instruments, control valves, and analytical instrumentation.
- Must have knowledge in maintenance and troubleshooting of PLCs, transmitter and valve setup and diagnosis, electrical testing and loop checking.
- Ability to perform installations and renovations compliant with regulatory standards.
- Follow SOPs and safety/environmental activities; work with plant equipment correctly.
- Perform other duties as required.
