Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks an Instrumentation/Electrical Technician to maintain and install process control instrumentation and electrical systems. You will work with transmitters, controllers, integrators, recorders and related equipment in field and shop settings.

The role requires interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams and PLC logic, performing fault analysis, calibration and repair, and communicating effectively in English.

Qualifications

Must be a High School graduate or GED equivalent and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to interpret schematic drawings of pneumatic, relay logic, PLCs and motor control diagrams.
Experience with installing and maintaining electrical/instrumentation systems and components.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, installation and integration of process control instrumentation equipment.
Repair electrical power and motor control circuits; support field fault analysis and calibration.
Install new control circuits and modify existing instrument/electrical systems as required.
Develop and present recommendations and reports as requested.
