Job summary

Genovice is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Field Commissioning Engineer to lead hands-on field commissioning for pharmaceutical manufacturing and utilities at multiple US sites. You will support PLC/DCS and Emerson DeltaV-based systems, interpret engineering drawings in the field, and collaborate with electrical and process teams to ensure safe, compliant start-up and commissioning.

Qualifications

• 5-15 years of instrumentation/controls/industrial automation experience.
• Experience with PLC/DCS controls and field commissioning.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings in the field.
• Proven team player mindset working with electrical, automation/controls, and process professionals.
• Willingness and ability to travel to several US sites for FAT, start-up, and SAT.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on field commissioning at customer sites.
• Support FAT readiness and testing at factory/shop (travel required).
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and controls in the field.
• Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to drive issues to closure.
• Maintain clear field documentation including test results and punch lists.
