Milestone Commissioning, LLC seeks an experienced Instrumentation Commissioning Lead to join our team. The role focuses on leading commissioning plans, coordinating with vendors, supervising technicians, and ensuring HSSE adherence for facility living quarters and safety systems turnover.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 5-8 years of experience; 8+ years preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with client-assignment travel obligations.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in commissioning or related field.
• 8+ years of experience preferred for senior lead role.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning plans and procedures for equipment within disciplines.
• Identify startup spares for respective disciplines.
• Attend FATs and document FAT reports.
• Coordinate with vendors at site and manage pre-commissioning activities.
• Supervise technicians during commissioning and startup prep.
• Ensure safety of all technicians and observe HSSE procedures.
• Develop and witness living quarter testing procedures with USCG.
• Oversee preservation and transportation prep of living quarters.
• Manage safety system tests prior to turnover and ensure quality control.

Milestone Commissioning is currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation Commissioning Lead to join our team.

Essential Functions:

• The Commissioning Discipline Leads within their respective disciplines will act as the owners of their systems and support Operations with startup of equipment and performance testing. The Commissioning Discipline Leads work with the Commissioning Manager, Sr. Commissioning Engineer, and Commissioning Superintendent in development of commissioning plans and procedures for the equipment within their disciplines.
• Identifies all startup spares for their respective disciplines.
• Attend FATs and document results in a FAT Report.
• Coordinate with Vendors at site.
• Plan and manage pre-commissioning and commissioning activities within their discipline.
• Supervision of all Technicians during commissioning and startup preparation.
• Ensuring the safety of all Technicians.
• Develop living quarter testing procedures.
• Coordinate with USCG to witness and walkthrough living quarters.
• Oversee preservation of the living quarters after mechanically complete.
• Prepare living quarters for transportation to site.
• Manage function safety system tests of the facilities prior to turnover.
• Continuously practices Quality Control while executing the work.
• Actively promotes and personally observes all company, client, and regulatory Health, Safety, Security, & Environment (HSSE) procedures
