Job summary

Inframark is seeking a skilled Instrumentation & Field Service Technician to support project startups, calibration, and commissioning at customer sites. You will install instruments, wire panels, terminate cables, and test signals while ensuring field equipment interfaces align with drawings.

Travel up to 50% and on-site customer training are part of the role, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and strong communication with management and contractors.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or 3 years field service in instrumentation and control systems.
• Understanding of process instruments.
• Ability to read contract electrical drawings and communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and commission project instrumentation on site.
• Commission control panels and test signal wiring and interfaces.
• Terminate plant network cables and test signal loss.
• Mark up control panel drawings to reflect field equipment.
• Provide customer training on instrumentation and control panels.
• Offer on-site troubleshooting and on-call support per maintenance contracts.
