Job summary

FCX Performance, an Applied Industrial Technologies Company, is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems at customer sites. You will calibrate devices, commission instrumentation, and complete detailed service logs.

Requires 2+ years in process/control equipment, strong computer proficiency, and PLC/drives experience. Travel to sites, safety-focused mindset, and ability to work indoors/outdoors in varied

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associates/Technical degree is preferred.
• 2+ years installing, maintaining, and repairing process/control equipment including instrumentation, valves, actuators and pumps.
• Strong computer proficiency with electronic/microcomputer instruments to measure/control pressure, flow, temp, etc.
• Strong mechanical ability with hand/tools power tools; electrical/electrical experience.
• PLC programming and drives troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform field maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems.
• Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow and other instrumentation; commission instrumentation and shoot loops.
• Install and calibrate measuring/positioning devices and perform minor electrical maintenance.
• Complete documentation of actions; report job activity and maintain logs of service calls, parts, orders.
• Travel to and from job sites using company vehicle; maintain safe driving habits.
